On the [Mathematical] Wedding of Ginestra Bianconi’s Gravity from Entropy and John Onimisi Obidi’s Theory of Entropicity (ToE) in Modern Theoretical Physics - To Ginestra Bianconi, With Love
The Obidi Theory of Entropicity: Unifying Gravity and Quantum Dynamics
This work is a more or less technical analysis comparing Ginestra Bianconi's Gravity from Entropy framework with the overarching Theory of Entropicity (ToE), a universal entropic field theory, first formulated and further developed by John Onimisi Obidi. The main argument is that Bianconi’s theory, which defines gravity through the relative entropy between spacetime and matter-induced metrics (a dual ontology), is entirely contained within ToE as a special limit. ToE proposes a monistic ontology where a single fundamental entropy field, $S(x)$, is the source of all geometry, matter, and gravity, defined by the Obidi Actions; this approach derives Bianconi’s action as a quadratic, near-equilibrium approximation. Crucially, ToE resolves challenges in Bianconi's work, providing a canonical quantization for the entropy field and explaining the auxiliary G–field and emergent cosmological constant $\Lambda_{ent}$ as natural consequences of entropy-flux conservation and spectral deviations, positioning ToE as a comprehensive unification of entropic, quantum, and geometric approaches to gravity.
